Middleton home sales peaked in 2004 with 273 sold listings. Single family home expired listings grew from 114 in 2004 to 189 in 2007, as the real estate market shifted.
Listing Success Rate
The listing success rate for Middleton homes ranged between 65% and 74% during the first six years of the decade. The success rate decreased in 2006 and again in 2007, where it landed at 53% - just above the Dane County average of 52%.
Days on Market
The Middleton average days on market for listings that sold grew to 80 days in 2007, compared to 74 days for all of Dane County. The average days on market for listings that expired grew to 140 days, compared to 149 days for all of Dane County.
Total Days on Market Experience
The total days on market experience for Middleton homes grew to 203 days (6.7 months) in 2007, compared to 210 days (6.9 months) for all of Dane County.
